Invalid CSV File Error


Sometimes, when uploading a new CSV list to the Preview Dialer, the following error can be encountered:

This error usually means there are invalid or problematic characters within the CSV file. 
Check the file for these and remove them.

Alternatively, there may be line breaks within the data. A line break will look like this:


Removing Line Breaks


You can open the file in Excel and use the Find And Replace (Ctrl+H) Function to Find and then replace these New Line breaks. To do this following these steps:


1. Press Ctrl+H to open Find and Replace.

2. Click into the "Find what:" field and press Ctrl+J, This will place a comma into the filed that will flash while you are still editing the entry field.3. Click into the "Replace with:" field and press the Space key.

4. Click "Replace All" 
This will make the adjustment to the fields with line breaks:
Save the resulting file.


Upload the File


You should now be able to upload the list without error.
